The Montrose County Media Relations Manager works within the Office of County Management at the direction of the County Manager. This website is representative of county outreach efforts on social media, news releases, and calendar information to inform the public of upcoming events.
The Montrose County Media Relations Manager is responsible for disseminating news related to Montrose County elected offices and departments, scheduling and developing public presentations and meetings, and public outreach as directed by the Board of County Commissioners and Elected Officials. This position is also responsible for acting as the Public Information Officer in the Incident Command Staff during an emergency. The Media Relations Manager also updates and maintains county social media and the Montrose County website.
